Another shot of the west pier in Brighton. Added the Moon in lenslight, and darkened in Mextures for a Dusk effect. Processed in Snapseed and distressed FX as well. Brighton’s a great place for photographers lots of hidden alleys and old worldy buildings. There’s new and old, pristine and worn and lots of graffiti!! Here’s a couple of Hopstamatic shots of the town…….
The first is an area known as the Lanes, lots of old shops down narrow alleys.. The second is a shot of the Royal Pavilion an extravagant pleasure palace.Built for the Prince Regent, later King George IV, in stages between 1787 and 1823. There’s also a great museum there and pleasant gardens.
This is a shot of some disused lock ups/ beach huts! not quite sure which. Taken with Bracket mode for a dark and light exposure then combined using PRO hdr and processed using Filterstorm, Distressed FX, Mextures and Snapseed for a grungy overall effect. Will definitely be returning there soon if only to get some shots of the Victorian train station…
